HelloCoolWorld goes to the Green Festival in Seattle!

By David Ng On June 10, 2010 | 0 Comments

HelloCoolWorld made a trip down across the border to attend the third annual Green Festival in Seattle June 5 - 6.  It was great to see such a unique collaboration between grassroots community groups, organizations and other companies, all come together to share ideas for a green future.

We were especially excited to hear Thom Hartmann speak about the history of Corporate Reform.  Amy Goodman from Democracy Now was also a keynote speaker, who shared her experiences as a journalist trying to cover stories that corporations are trying to cover up, such as the BP oil crisis in the Gulf of Mexico, and the police brutality that she suffered from at the Republican convention during the last US elections.

Put That Bottle Down... It's World Water Day!

By Katherine Dodds On March 22, 2010 | 0 Comments

Water has been an issue dear to my heart since we started the company 9 years ago. My mother always said, if you want to do one thing to decrease suffering in the world, make sure you give everyone, everywhere access to free, clean water.
