Youth (15)

Hello Cool World has been working with peace & justice NGO Inter Pares for over two years now and we really believe in the work they do and the way they do it. They take a grassroots approach to structural change, which strongly appeals to us. They were early supporters of The Corporation and by working with us to develop their campaigns, they continue to support all the work we do. Usually we don’t ask for direct donations but if you’re thinking about making a charitable donation this year or looking for a meaningful gift, please consider Inter Pares’ Give Something Big campaign. And if you have a little time to spread the word about the campaign -- that would thrill us too!

Colette joined Hello Cool World team back in 2003 and was a key organizer for The Corporation and The Take's grassroots outreach efforts across North America. After being inspired by the organizing and awareness building potential of the internet and social issue films, she returned to school to study Communications and sharpen her skills. Once graduating, Colette returned to Hello Cool World once again as a grassroots campaign consultant. She is now the Director of Distribution for Hello Cool World's new fair trade distribution arm.

As we work on the new video for Chee Mamuk (STI Division of the BC Centre for Disease Control) with youth from the Sto:lo Nation (and a few others) I am feeling very privileged to get to work with such great people on projects that I really believe will have an impact. Don't Stress the Tests is an excerpt of the video we did last year with youth in Chemainus. The new video we are launching later this month is called "Strong Path".
