With just a couple days left to get your gala tickets at a special price,
we want to pique your interest by giving you a preview of the silent auction treasures that will be available at the event. The auction is just one of many titillating treats on the menu at Ready for Pleasure, Opt's 50th anniversary benefit gala & celebration.
Boys, girls, bubbly, a buffet, music, dancing, and swag?! You do not want to miss out on the frisky, frivolous Valentine foreplay fun! Ginger62 and the Ramada will be the hot (and heavy) spots to be on February 13th. Mark your calendars, buy your tickets, and play safe!
Want to learn about the wonderful donations made to the auction? Click Read More to, well, read more.

Just in case you've been out of the loop, here's a friendly reminder about Opt's 50th Anniversary Gala & Celebration! This event is a fundraiser for Options for Sexual Health celebrating half a century as BC's largest non-profit provider of sexual health information and services.
With 2010 wrapping up quickly, this event is inching closer and closer and to make sure this fundraiser is a success, we need your help spreading the word...
The Facebook Event is up and running so if you haven't already done so, tell us that you're attending and be sure to invite all your friends too. If you have a blog or any other web presence, you can help us attract some more attention by putting up one of these buttons and linking to http://www.optionsforsexualhealth.org/catalog/anniversary

Hello Cool World at Media Democracy Day!

Media Democracy Day - a day of action, activism, dialogue and connection, is happening this Saturday, November 6 in Vancouver and we are thrilled to be a part!
To get excited for Media Democracy Day a lovely member of the MDD team came to the Hello Cool World headquarters to interview David and I about the importance of events like Media Democracy Day and to celebrate our Fair Trade Distribution model and motto of Ideas to Audiences, Audiences to Action, Action to Outcome. Watch our interview! (Picture above).
Hailing from the mountain town of Salt Lake City, Utah, Lizzy enjoys picnics, reading on a lazy Sunday morning and adventurous bike rides. After learning about books at the University of Toronto she now calls Vancouver home. She joined Hello Cool World as a member of the LACE campaign action team, and luckily for us, decided to stick around.

It's pumpkin carving day! But first...a little revelling in LACE!

It is Halloween, but all I can think of is LACE. There's also lots going on in the coming weeks at Hello Cool World - but before I tell you about Media Democracy Day, the new films we are working on, and the soon to be ramped up Campaign For Organ Donation centred around Eva Markvoort's story in 65_Red Roses... I just have to take a moment to revel in this past week of Pap celebrations. Because it was a resounding success!
