It's World AIDS Day -- We've been working on issues of HIV and STI prevention since we formed the company on Feb 14 of 2001.

Still from "By My Name"
Some of the work we've been most proud of is what we've done with Chee Mamuk (the Aboriginal Program of the STI Division of BC Centre For Disease Control).Last year we made a film with Nak'azdli youth in Ft.St James as part of the Star in your own Stories workshop series. You can see the video called "By My Name" on our YouthHaveThePower Website.
We're very excited about some new projects we'll be working on with Chee Mamuk in the new year. We're very proud of the work they do and contratulate them again on their recent "AccolAIDS' award for innovation.

Pictured here are the circle people we created for Chee Mamuk worshops, featured in anmiated form idemonstrating that 'you can't get HIV from kissing!"
KISS KISS

The kissing theme was front and centre in the Opt Photoshoot from two weekends ago! Options For Sexual Health is BC's largerst non-profit provider of sexual health services.
Ready For Pleasure will be the them of all the events beginning in February as Opt celebrates 50 years!
Tickets for the Valentine's Eve party we are co-hosting are going on sale TODAY. The Gala tickets will be offered at a discounted price until January so buy them now!. email info@helloCoolworld.com for details.
