A STONE'S THROW is stunningly shot in beautiful Nova Scotia. With attention to the small details that will resonate with anyone who ever lived in a small town, the film also takes on the bigger world of enviro-activism as eco-journalist Jack Walker (Kris Holden-Ried) arrives, unannounced at the home of his sister, Olivia (Kathryn MacLellan). While healing old family wounds and falling in love with local school teacher, Lia (Lisa Ray), Jack's dark secret catches up to him. In the process the clash of jobs vs. the environment takes on a personal dimension. Jack realizes self-styled eco-activism comes with a price...
