Connecting the Cool: Opt in!

Attention citizens of cool! We want your feedback... What can we do to make this network more valuable to you? Right now, members sign up to hear news about projects related to their interests. Part social network and part promotional, we’d like to be able to offer additional incentives. Our goal is to be the connector, the conduit between people, issues and action. We’ve put up discussion forums to be a collective thinktank and exchange ideas. We want to launch a blog network and provide blogger tools and webspace in exchange for running our blogcaster - we're working on V.2 now. We’ve kicked around the idea of offering paid memberships with bonuses like discounts at our web store, Hello Cool Stuff. Interested?

We’re trying to create a new kind of model built on co-promotional tie-ins and the involvement of our members -- one that is sustainable, transparent and accountable to you. We’re looking for volunteers to write for our e-zine, moderate our forums and help us grow. And the more we can increase the value of our network, the more we can offer back!

We don’t want your credit scores, shopping history or anything like that! But we do want to know what your interests are and where you’d like to see this network go.
