Business School Curriculum

Instructors of business school curriculum can access a study guide prepared by the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.

You must be a registered instructor with Ivey Publishing in order to download (free of charge) the complete study guide. Other people who wish to learn more about The Corporation should download the Television Ontario study guide, or the Australian study guide.

Instructors are provided discussion questions, reading lists, a transcript of the relevant sections within the film, and a PowerPoint presentation. Additional materials for teaching a course on "Individuals, Corporations and Society" are also available through Ivey Publishing.

INSTRUCTIONS TO GET THE STUDY GUIDE FOR "THE CORPORATION"

1. Go to http://cases.ivey.uwo.ca/cases.
2. To register on the website, click on the ‘Register’ option in the top menu of the website.
3. Fill in your personal information and click ‘Register’ at the bottom of the screen. Note that to have access to The Corporate Study Guide, you must be a teaching faculty member, which means that you must click the second checkbox under the heading ‘Academic Pricing and Inspection Status Requests.’
4. Now, you must wait 2-3 business days for Ivey Publishing to verify your teaching status. Once verified, you will receive an email indicating that you can access the cases and teaching notes (including The Corporation Study Guide) on the Ivey Publishing website. At that point, you can return to http://cases.ivey.uwo.ca/cases.
5. Click the link ‘Sign In,’ which is to the right of ‘Register.’
6. Enter your email address and password with which you registered, and click "Sign In."
7. Under ‘Search Ivey Products’ on the left, type 9B04M077, which is the product number for The Corporation Study Guide, and click ‘Go.’ Note that you must click ‘Go’ as opposed to typing the ‘Enter’ key.
8. Click on the link ‘STUDY GUIDE FOR "THE CORPORATION".’
9. On the top right of the page, click the ‘View PDF.’ This will load Adobe Acrobat Reader and open the study guide for The Corporation.
10. From Adobe Reader, you can print the study guide and/or save the file by clicking "Save a Copy."
