Naloxone Wakes You Up

Project Description

We created a video that trains youth how to recognize and respond to an overdose for the BC Centre for Disease Control's Take Home Naloxone program. We also worked with Inner City Youth to put together an art booklet based on a research project with street-involved youth in Vancouver who were asked about their experience with the program. Some of their meaningful comments are featured alongside illustrations by youth artists. Since these projects overlapped, we were able to work the youths' material into the video as well. Read a blog post for more details.

Vancouver Coastal Health - Sneezes+Diseases

Project Description

After creating a series of graphics for Vancouver Coastal Health's Communicable Disease Control Program to use in their outreach materials, we developed a new website under the brand identity, “Sneezes+Diseases.” Their first website, VCH CDC needed a user-friendly solution to manage their program's content and resources that would operate in tandem with a myriad of VCH web properties. The site includes password protected areas, integrated news and resource feeds targeted to multiple audiences, and an online manual for disease control training.
We worked closely with VCH CDC to organize and adapt their content and resources into audience friendly formats, and build them a website customized to their unique needs.

Get Checked Online

Project Description

GetCheckedOnline.com is a new, online STI/HIV testing service. We developed the overarching brand 'storyworld' and a range of promotional materials tailored to different communities, in close consultation with the BCCDC and stakeholders from regional health authorities. Three distinct concepts were put forth for audience focus testing which were then honed into the final designs that launched in January 2016 in the first phase of the program's expansion.
