IT’S FINALLY HAPPENED!!! 65_RedRoses is going to have it’s American broadcast premiere on the Oprah Winfrey Network!!!

Phil and I are so proud of our entire team, especially Eva, whose unconditional love and support is what made all of this possible. From the very beginning she recognized the importance of reaching a global community and in our final conversations together she spoke about how much she wanted the film to reach her American friends and supporters. And now, for the first time, they will be able to see a new, updated version on OWN!!!

Meg and Kina – can you believe it? You’re finally going to be able to see the film on American TV!!!

We will keep everyone updated on air dates and American press as we get closer to the premiere. A special thanks goes out to the wonderful Chuck Braverman, who immediately extended his help to us when we approached him about taking 65_RedRoses to the US. We thank Force Four Entertainment, our producers, crew, friends and family for always believing in this project.

To Bill, Janet, Annie and Hunter, we thank you for all the love.

Wonderful achievement! “Think Big”—that sounds like Eva’s mantra. What that girl accomplished in 25 years continues to inspire and astound me. Every day I remind myself to live my best life, as Eva did hers. You, the film-makers, impress the importance of story-telling. Where the earliest humans once sat around fires, dreaming themselves through art, legend, tales of great heros, slain monsters, voyages to distant worlds, we now gather the same way around Eva’s story. Her blog, her life, her soul, her story, is the fire that draws us all together, and pushes us from our small caves toward our dreams. Thank you to you, the story tellers, who keep her alive for us. And heartfelt thanks to her entire family and all of her friends.

MAY EVAS FIGTHING SPIRIT LIVE DEEP IN OUR HEART FOR EVER! I´VE SEEN THIS DOCUMENTARY FOUR TIMES, AND I BOTH CRY AND SMILE IN A MIX. FOR EVAS GOOD SPIRIT… FOR HER FAMILY WHO HAVE AN ANGEL IN HEAVEN… GOD BLESS YOU!!! BE “PROUD” OF THIS LOVELY GIRL LEAVING EARTH SO EARLY… BUT LEAVING A GREAT TESTAMONIAL…LOVE U – SPECIALLY FOR CHRISTMAS…

Finally saw this documentary after reading about it in the papers… we have a personal (yet medically distant)connection with CF and this was both heart wrenching and eye opening for our family. Thank you for showing this, and a heartfelt thank you to Eva’s family for letting us all in to a place where our friends with CF have not been comfortable to let us be. And, may all of our friends be organ donors. ALL.

OMG! I cannot wait to see this film! I’m 24 and have CF. I’m currently on a waiting list for a double lung transplant. Hearing other CFer’s stories fascinate me. I love reading what we (CFers) have accomplished. I don’t know much about Eva. I just discovered this website on Twitter maybe a month ago. But she sounds EXTRODINARY! I’ll be keeping my eyes open for when this story comes to the states. And when it does ALL my friends and family will be watching with me! Thank you Eva for telling your story and sharing it with the rest of us!

Simply wonderful! I wrote a letter to Oprah’s editors, right after Eva’s passing, pleading and telling them about her story. I never heard back, so I figured it was going no where and was frustrated that they couldn’t see an incredible story of both courage and inspiration. I am so pleased that they did not drop the ball and will be spreading the message in a more profound and impactful way, by showing the doc. in its entirety! This is going to be really big!

Great job and BIG RED LOVE to all!

This is amazing!!! Eva is amazing, and I’m so glad she had a chance to share her story. I’ve already shared her blog with all of my friends, and am trying to spread her story and awareness. So excited this will be aired in the US!

Do you guys plan to release the updated version of the film on dvd?

Congratulations to you all. *throws arms wide* There’s no words. Just that action, it encompasses what I can’t say! Love, love, love.
