Free 65_RedRoses Screening at Capilano University March 8
On Thursday, March 8 2012, Capilano University will be hosting a free community screening of 65_RedRoses!
The screening will be happening at the Nat and Flora Bosa Centre for Film and Animation Theatre. The movie starts at 4:30pm will be followed by an audience Q&A with Capilano University president, Dr. Kris Bulcroft, members of BC Transplant, and 65_RedRoses co-director, Nimisha Mukerji. Everyone is welcome, students and the public alike!

The new release of the film is available now in both the US and Canada for screenings, and will have it’s US broadcast premiere on OWN this spring. This new version, along with many extra features, will be available for sale in Canada in March for educational and home sales. Home pre-sales available now (Canada only). 65_RedRoses Benefit Concert & Sundance Festival
It’s been almost one year since our beloved Eva lost her lifelong battle with cystic fibrosis. To mark the anniversary, the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (Vancouver Chapter) and the Massey Theatre are hosting a benefit concert on February 11th. (Facebook Event)
Local musicians include headliner Dan Mangan, who provided the closing credits song to Markvoort’s award winning film, as well as The Zolas, Hannah Georgas and Corrina Corrina – all of whom are performing for free! Tickets to the event are $34 (purchase here) and all proceeds will go to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in Eva’s name.
